Even multiple embassies and International Airport are currently surrounded by rival gang territories.
Panicked shootouts between the gangs and police is becoming a new norm on the street. Innocent civilians bear the brunt of this lawlessness, struggling each d ay to protect themselves and their families. The country is witnessing the heartbreak stories of loss, fear, and desperation each day.
